However, the selling prices of key agricultural, forestry and fishery products will continue to increase from the beginning of 2024 because the domestic and export markets are basically stable, producers are profitable and interested in investing in production.
Thanks to that, the output of crop, livestock, forestry and fishery products mainly increased significantly, and exports continued to increase strongly compared to the same period last year.
Specifically, agricultural, forestry and fishery exports in April reached 5.14 billion USD, up nearly 20% over the same period last year.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said that in May and the following months, Vietnam's major agricultural, forestry and fishery export markets such as the US, China, Japan, Asia... continued to grow again.
However, the world economy continues to face many difficulties, military conflicts are increasing and show no signs of cooling down... disrupting supply chains and increasing transportation costs.
Many countries implement policies to protect domestically produced goods and promote agricultural production to proactively supply and cope with the negative impacts of El Nino in 2024.
Domestically, there is an abundant, relatively stable supply of fruits and vegetables, many types of agricultural products are about to be harvested...
The Ministry will grasp the output situation of key fruit trees for export such as dragon fruit, longan, mango, durian, and citrus; Direct the planting of crops suitable for the consumer market, with good selling prices and high economic efficiency.
