(HSV VIETNAM GROUP) - Vietnam has just announced a long-term steel industry development roadmap with the ambition to reach an output of 70 million tons by 2050, aiming for complete autonomy in domestic supply.
This strategy is divided into 3 specific phases with clear production and consumption milestones. The focus of the project is to reduce dependence on imports, support downstream manufacturing and promote sustainable development.
At the same time, the Government also prioritizes reallocating production capacity among regions to ensure geographical balance.
